Job Announcement – CEOJJC Business Manager
The Central and Eastern Oregon Juvenile Justice Consortium (CEOJJC), an intergovernmental organization of 17 counties, is seeking a Business Manager. The ideal candidate will have:
• Management and financial skills with a strong knowledge of accounting systems and internal controls to ensure fiscal accuracy. Budget and accounting duties are a major part of the job.
• Strong computer skills to use a variety of software programs, and the ability to research and provide data analysis for special juvenile system studies, as needed.
• Oral and written communication skills and the ability to develop clear, concise and accurate reports for the Board of Directors and partners. The Business Manager communicates regularly with County Juvenile Directors and staff; OYA management and staff; private and government service providers of youth treatment and/or programs; granting entities and other business providers; bank; auditors; bookkeeping firm; and occasionally, the public.
• Time management skills to handle business operations in an independent work environment. The office is a one-person office and the Business Manager performs all duties, from the mundane to high-level tasks. This is not an entry-level position.
